Lawrence Bauer

Larry Bauer joined us at the end of 2015 when he merged his firm, Solomon+Bauer Architects, into Schwartz/Silver. He has been the Principal-in-Charge of a wide range of museum projects, and is a nationally acclaimed authority in the design of museum collection storage facilities, providing his expertise to our museum projects and consulting on collections storage to other architects. His collections work includes The Broad Museum, LACMA, and the Autry Museums in Los Angeles; The Harvard Art Museums, the Peabody Essex Museum, and the Museum of Fine Arts in Greater Boston; the MFA Houston, The Menil and the Amon Carter in Texas. Larry is the former Chairman of the Newton, MA Historical Commission and continues to serve on Historic Boards and Commissions in the region.
