PEM Collection Center in Northshore Magazine

Peabody Essex Museum’s James B. and Mary Lou Hawkes Collection Center was featured this month in Northshore Magazine. Schwartz/Silver’s team of collection specialists worked with PEM to design the fit out of the 120,000 sf existing warehouse in Rowley, MA to house the museum’s collection of over 800,000 objects. The Center is also home to PEM’s Phillips Library, and the Schwartz/Silver-designed reading room, which provide public access to one of the oldest library collections in the country.
