Civic Practice Leader
Peter is Schwartz/Silver’s Managing Principal, responsible for day-to-day firm operations, and leads our Civic Projects practice group. Peter’s completed projects for the Federal General Services Administration include the highly honored A. H. McCoy Federal Building in Jackson, MS, and the J. W. Peck Federal Building in Cincinnati, OH. He is the Project Manager for a new District Courthouse for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Peter is also an expert in the restoration and renewal of historic architecture and consults across the practice on preservation issues. He leads our work at the 1886 Wellesley, MA, Town Hall, and the 1903 Edward T. Gignoux U.S. Courthouse in Portland, ME, and was Principal-in-Charge for the renovation of Billings Hall, the oldest surviving classroom building at Wellesley College. Peter is a Commissioner of the Town of Brookline’s Preservation Commission.
