Robert Silver
Founding Principal, FAIA, LEED AP
Robert spent his childhood browsing the many hardware stores of New York’s Canal Street, looking for small motors and gears for his homemade toys. His first degree was in physics, and, in a bit of uncharacteristic indecisiveness, he applied to graduate schools in both architecture and astronomy before making a choice based on his love of “building things.” A Founding Principal of Schwartz/Silver, Robert leads the firm’s quality control efforts and provides technical support on all projects. He reviews construction documents, writes technical specifications, and provides guidance in difficult construction challenges. He is a Board Member of the Boston Psychoanalytic Society & Institute and a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects.
